A/C Maintenance Technician

As an A/C Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (A/C) systems. Your primary focus will be on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs to guarantee the comfort and safety of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of A/C systems to identify and address potential issues.
  2. Perform routine cleaning, filter replacement, and lubrication of system components to optimize efficiency.
  3. Diagnose malfunctions in heating and cooling systems and implement necessary repairs.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to schedule and execute planned maintenance activities.
  5. Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and replacements for future reference.
  6. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and provide efficient solutions.
  7. Stay updated on industry advancements and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized HVAC program or apprenticeship preferred.
  2. Proven experience as an A/C Maintenance Technician or a similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of A/C systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning components.
  4. Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  7. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  8. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
